JP's Coffee and Espresso Bar - Holland Michigan

2011-12-03 7565-3T1 - I spent Saturday Christmas shopping with my wife and middle daughter. Knowing that this was going to be a looong day I threw my camera in and was ready to take some seasonal photos. Well we started around 10 AM and ended up with dinner after 7:00 PM - I think I need some kind of an award!! No actually, it was a very fun day with my wife as we got almost done with our shopping. I shot this as I was in the passenger seat with my camera out the window, just to let you know this does embarrass daughters sitting in the back seat. What fun!! I hope all of you are enjoying the Holiday Season!!

On the blackest of black Fridays, LCF (<a href="https://www.facebook.com/LakeshoreSkateBMX" rel="nofollow">www.facebook.com/LakeshoreSkateBMX</a>) had a little demo/jam/food-stravaganza. I didn't really take many pictures or anything, but expect a little vid, at some point. <a href="https://www.facebook.com/RJPlab" rel="nofollow">www.facebook.com/RJPlab</a> *edit: This ( <a href="http://vimeo.com/32947937" rel="nofollow">vimeo.com/32947937</a>) little vid was gonna be the intro, but I got way, way, way too lazy... and well, yeah. The sand dunes that run up and down the western shoreline of Lake Michigan are so beautiful and so rare and so distinctly ours that the mere notion of developing them is a sin against nature. I knew some people that supported laws that will allow a stretch of land similar to this (actually just several miles south of the above location) to be developed by some billionaire named Mc Clendon. I cannot emphasize enough to anyone what I tried to tell them: There is no place anywhere else in the WHOLE WORLD like this. Its sad how comfortable we are to let something so special slip through our fingers like sand.

I am easily amused sometimes. Like this afternoon when the sun played in the trees and I played hide and seek behind the trees. This was taken in Sanctuary Woods; Holland, Michigan.
