Meet Birdie
I had to put down my Black Lab a few weeks ago. I was in a funk ever since...until Sunday when Birdie came from Upstate New York. She is a 6 month old Golden Retriever bred by my girlfriend's mother. She doesn't bark, points at a birds, loves carrots and has a heart of gold. And now she is ours...or I guess we are hers.
Birdie facts:
#1 Loves carrots
#2 Likes to pick up socks, she doesn't chew them, she just keeps them in her mouth. Every morning there is a damp sock in the house.
#3 I've only had her two mornings, but his morning she brought me my sandle and set it on my arm at 6:30 am.
#4 She has a heart of gold.
