Racing the Rain
A small fishing boat motors through Lake Macatawa, possibly with haste due to the incoming rainstorm which was being wonderfully lit by the setting sun.

Whip Crack
This strke, you can kind of tell from the photo, started what seemed like a mile down the beach and went past my position as it stretched south over and beyond Holland State Park

SS South American; SS North American and the Alabama seen here in Holland, Michigan at their winter dock on Lake Macatawa.
