De Zwaan = The Swan. This windmill was disassembled piece by piece in Holland and reassembled in Holland, Michigan. This is the mechanism used to move the windmill blades around to face the wind. It uses anchored cables that are drawn up onto the spool as the red and white wheel is turned, then the anchor cable may be repositioned to move it further.

I've processed this one a few different times with different results, and although I'm still not entirely pleased with it, I think I like this toning.
