Firey Abstract
An abstract closeup of a fiery tulip backlit by the sun. Taken in Centennial Park in downtown Holland.
It should be noted that I had to DE-SATURATE this shot (i.e. adjust the color DOWNWARD). The "as taken" photo ended up blowing out a lot of the red areas ... these particular flowers were that vivid and colorful.

Tulip Time Windmill
I took a drive out to Holland, MI this afternoon to photograph the tulips.
It was a gorgeous day! From a photographic standpoint, the tulips aren't QUITE at peak yet, and it was a bit windy and the sunlight was a bit harsh ... but I certainly did enjoy the wonderful Spring day.
